Sam Cohen’s Las Vegas Restaurant Tour: Fleming’s at Town Square

So I have to say there is no way to spend a Tuesday than at Fleming’s for Tomahawk Tuesday!!


I have done this meal a couple of times at this point. It is worth doing more than once.  This feast will feed two or three people. You get two salads, tomahawk and two sides, and two deserts. Can’t beat that for $120.00.


We started with a bottle of Brancia which is a Sangiovese from Toscana. We ended up with a couple bottles. As for the Salads, I actually didn’t get any pictures. lol I was so hungry I just started eating without the picture. We had a cob and a Ceaser with anchovies. Classic steak house starters.  Plus they pay attention to detail by bringing out chilled salad forks. This was a nice touch.




From there we had the tomahawk steak. It was prepared medium. It is great to cook a steak that has so much marbling medium in order to render it. This makes it sooooo tender and tasty. They brought this steak out on a cart and sliced it table side.




We ordered the tuna poke as well just to give it a try. Again there was a chilled fork for this dish. It really is the attention to detail that makes a meal. This dish was so fresh. The do this poke with avocado, cucumber, caviar and a soy ginger sauce.



We decided to stick with three classic steak house sides. We got mac & Cheese, pan sauteed brussle sprouts with lemon juice and french fries. Lets be honest, you can’t beat fries with your steak. It is always good to keep it classic at a place like this.



For desert I decided to have baileys and coffee. I always have this with cheese cake. I think they go perfect together. I have to say that Fleming’s cheese cake is amazing. This is done in the classic NY style. It is thick and light at the same time. This is topped off with strawberry Champagne sauce. Yet another classic with the key lime pie. This is done with a graham cracker crust and chantilly whipped cream.


If you are looking for something to do on a Tuesday, you can’t beat going for a classic steak house experience. Tomahawk Tuesday is a great meal, service is impeccable, and I have never had anything but a great experience here.
